By the way, I was surprised to find frog’s legs at our local market so you know I had to buy some! I’ll let you know how they taste soon. ;)

you know you’ve got a spot at the table on hold here whenever you’re ready! (By the way, tonight I’m making Saffron fish soup with Mahi Mahi! I have no idea how it will come out because the recipe just came to me and I’ll be improvising as I go, but I’m trying anyway. Worse comes to worse some friends of mine just returned from a cruise of the Bahamas and they brought a Rum cake for me; that’ll make a fine dinner if I can’t eat the soup. 8-D ) )

Hirza, awwww, yes, you will find your buddy. Just hang in there and keep doing what you love – be it on yr own or with new friends.

Mark, hee hee, food for soul is also very nourishing and nutritious. And you can’t have too many buddies in that category :)

Hey, I’m excited about all the above except for in the seafood column I can’t eat lobster or shrimp, I don’t know what a makan is and I don’t know what you mean by Steamboat.;)

Then there is that little “thousands of mile between us” thing. Aside from that though, consider me your soul-foodie!

i used to have a foodie buddy and we would try new makan places almost every weekend! but she’s now on diet, for a long period of time already. i thought it was easy to find a new makan buddy, because i thought everyone loves eating! but i was so wrong…people eat, but that does not necassarily means they love trying out new food. oh girl, this entry of yours just made me missed my buddy…(but i know i’ll find a new buddy….) :D
