They say everyone in the world is connected to each other through approximately six people apart. Yes, my friends, we are connected to George Bush or… or even Pierce Brosnan *drool* by no more than six degrees of separation, or six friends of friends of friends. And I believe that’s very true. The saying that the world is so small has to come from somewhere after all.
A few days ago, through totally unexpected means (knew someone who knew someone who knew this fella), I managed to get to know the person who inspired me to create my very first blog. That’s two degrees of separation! He’s none other than Gna Gna. Besides his easy and wacky style of writing, he had all that afro hairdo. I was crushed when he finally decided to privatise his blog. There goes the one bright spot of my day.
Meet Gna Gna
It’s amazing to note that he’s what I imagined him to be eons ago when I first laid eyes on his blog. Articulate, intelligent, nerdy, wacky. Except for that afro hair bit. It was just a Photoshop gimmick. What a huge disappointment. Felt like I was ripped off or something.
But it’s the person inside that counts. That’s what I console myself with. Plus now, I’ve got privileged access to his privatised blog. Yaay!
Six degrees of separation.
You better believe it.
