How to Lengthen Your Name
Out of having nothing better to do, I put some thought into how to lengthen my name. Bet ya can’t guess how! Or maybe just couldn’t be bothered about it. But anyway, allow me to divulge a little bit more into my new discovery.
Ok, ready? Here are the steps:
1. Get rich, powerful and prominent in Malaysia
2. Get a PhD or Medical degree while you are at it
3. Become a registered Engineer
4. Join the Toastmasters’ club
5. Join the Rotary club
And voila, you would have added FIVE extra titles to your previously plain name.
“Everyone, say hello to Dato’ Dr Ir Toastmaster Rotarian So-and-so.”
Hee!

Yup, am most delighted to share it. The first day sounds a bit boring though. Stay tuned for Day Two ;)
Hi there,
Thanks for sharing the beautiful message. It was certainly a timely reminder of God’s unchanging and unconditional love for us.
God bless,
Kat
… and then your friends will get fed up with the long honorifics and decide to drop them and just call you “show off.” :D
Hehe… Yup, not applicable when it comes to buddies and family members ;) They are probably using a nickname already which is normally only one or two syllables in length.
lol so hilarious, gal! :D
Hahhah!!! I once tried to lengthen my name by calling myself Super Incredibly Wonderful James. Hehheh, Too bad it never caught on.
OK I’m kidding.
Glad to make you laugh, Irene ;)
Sure you are just kidding? You do have a very healthy self-esteem and a whacky sense of humor to boot, James :)
